I couldn't forget the poem Ninoy Aquino wrote for his wife, Cory, that goes ..."I fell in love with the same woman three times." This was immortalize through Jose Mari Chan who made a song out of it. I never really imagined it would happen to both Hubert and me...at least not this year...not on our 7th wedding anniverssary...we planned to have it on our 10th. WE JUST GOT MARRIED...again!!! Just like the song, we could now officially say, we married each other twice, hehehe...
At first it was just a joke after Frances, our daughter, kept on asking unending questions about why she wasn't invited to Mommy and Daddy's wedding seven years ago. Hello? As if she was already there, hehehe. So earlier during the day, Hubert and I left to buy more the ingredients needed for our small salu-salo later in the night, we told Frances to take a nap and be ready to be our flower girl when we get home.
And true enough, she really wore her white and torquiose gown and dozed off in her bean bag while waiting for us to come home...
Hubert and I brought home this little cake to remind the guests that it's not just a house blessing, its our 7th year of marriage too...to Frances and Jeremy's delight!!!
Father John Anthony Mary of the Cross, my Franciscan-friar-cousin , arrived to officiate the mass in our new home. He was supposed to be the one to officiate our wedding mass had not his ordination been moved from Rome to the Philippines and was later postponed to December 2000 so he was not able to make it to our April 2000 wedding. Anyway, we mentioned to him that Frances still thinks we are getting married that afternoon because there was a wedding cake and she was going to be the flower girl, hehehe. Father John, welcomed the idea and said, " Why not? You will say your I do's. Why don't you go up and change into any white outfit." In a flash, Hubert and I went down wearing white upper, far off from what we originally wore...orange polo for Hubert, blue spaghetti and white bolero for me, hehehe...
" I do...I do... I really, really do!!! "
Seriously, it was such a big blessing not only for hubert and me but for the whole family as well. It was such an unforgettable experience for us. Most of all, we love the way it was held solemnly and witnessed only by our families and a few friends. Thank you very much and see you around :)
In this space you will experience a cornucopia of things to see about my life, my family, my interests... it's a mixture of everything...just take a sneak peak into my kaleidoscope world...

Lucky Seven!!!
It's been 7 years now since the day we walked down the aisle and exchanged vows at the Redemptorist Church. So far, the good Lord has been so generous with His blessings for our family. As we journeyed through our new lives together, the ride was not smooth-sailing all the time. Sometimes we may have fallen into potholes, but somehow we manage to concert our efforts to patch things up and never left them unsettled. Most of the time, we really enjoyed the wonderful path we walked on that were surrounded with our children's cries and laughter. As we look back, we couldn't help but appreciate God's loving presence manifested in everything that we are enjoying together. Most of all, we also appreciate our families and friends for the support you've shown through the years that have passed and we are looking forward journeying with you in the years to come :)

Hubert's Arrival
Hubert is here for our 7th wedding anniversary tomorrow and we'll have our new house blessed on the same day too. It's going to be a long day today for us --- running errands, buying things needed in the house, going to the grocery, taking the kids at the mall, visiting our parents, etc. So I'll just leave you with these pictures taken last night at the airport...
Daddy, Jeremy, and Frances
We're complete!!!
Bonding moment...
Spending quality time in the family room...
Frances' quiet time with her new pink gameboy a.k.a. gamegirl, hehehe
P.S.
I just learned something new tonight... that bats also prefer to land at the airport, hehehe... Ciao!

Gingered Pork in Oyster Sauce
This morning was one of those Sundays when everyone in the household would wake up very, very, very late. We didn't even wake to our usual wake up call from the Julie's mobile bakeshop. Which meant that we simply missed our daily supply of Jeremy's favorite "elorde" bread and Fran's most requested "plain ensaimada." Well, anyway, the kids still enjoyed beating their hotcake mix on their own while their Auntie Joyce cooked the batter in the pan for them. We all enjoyed our pancake breakfast a la McDo :)
As I engrossed myself chatting with cousin Elaine and Hubert, I was alarmed looking at the clock and that it was almost time for lunch. I have 3 mouths to feed and I haven't even thawed the meat! Tsk...tsk...tsk... Most of all, I don't have an idea what to cook, hahaha, I thought I have my day off on Sundays. Well, I guess not! Poor me...
Anyway, after 30 minutes of deliberating and the meat has softened, I finally made up my mind and came up with this delectable dish...
Gingered Pork in Oyster Sauce
P.S. I'm so glad it passed the most critical standards of my daughter Frances' palate, who mostly chooses to eat only fried chicken, fried pork, hotdogs, and scrambled eggs. She hates anything with sauce except for spaghetti, so I'm so happy she has tried to explore eating this one with oyster sauce:)

Rain, Rain, Rain...
Summer is at it's peak, and all I could wish is for rain to come at this time of the year just to hydrate our cracked lands and not to mention our minds too, hehehe. Anyway, I had my first attempt at digital scrapbooking last year, getting my inspiration from my ever artistic sister-in-law, Jolana, who's so good at generating layouts from the pictures she and my brother, Rene take so often. I feel the urge to post some of my digital scrapbook pages.
Here's the very first one I made, during the rainy days of June...
Another one I made for the pictures I took during the kids' Halloween Party in 2006...
And another one from the Moving Up Day in KFI-LEC...

The March that was...
The month of March flew by so fast yet it left me with sweet memories. I was just so overwhelmed with so much activities to go to. I always caught myself always running against time--- the kids final exams; school practices for two weeks; Moving Up Day; Graduation Day; Echie and Mira's wedding; and lastly, Lola Pat's 83rd birthday celebration. The last two activites were two occassions when some family members flew in from the U.S. like Aunt Margarette Helen, cousin Echie, and Ate Catchy with her family.
